Linda Fossen published her first book entitled "Out of the Miry Clay: Freedom from Childhood Sexual Abuse" after spending decades suffering in silence because of her abuse.  It was a book she never intended to write.  These were the secrets she thought she would have to take with her to the grave.  God has done amazing things through the publication of Linda's story. The book went to 32 different countries in the first year of publication!

As a preacher’s daughter who was sexually abused by her father, Linda offers keen insight into the carnage that sexual abuse leaves in the heart of every child who experiences it.  She knows first-hand how this pollutes a child’s concept of God, love, father and trust.  Linda also knows the love of a Heavenly Father who not only heals but also restores the brokenhearted.

After breaking her silence, Linda has come forward as a powerful voice for those who cannot speak for themselves.  She frequently ministers in prisons, churches and to women’s groups sharing the good news that there is a way out of the pain of abuse and His wonderful name is Jesus.

Linda’s unique background enables her to relate to many different people.  After growing up as a preacher’s daughter, she married a born-again man in prison and spent 18 years as a convict’s wife.  Her husband was released in 1995, and they are still together and still in love.  She is currently writing her husband’s incredible testimony of God’s grace.

Linda was greatly impacted by the ministry of Pastor Benny Hinn, internationally known for his miracle crusades.  He prayed and prophesied over her on many occasions.  His prayer that "Jesus Christ would make you whole from the top of your head to the soles of your feet" became the name for her ministry "I Am Whole, Inc."  Linda credits Jesus for healing her broken heart and setting her free.

Linda spent 23 years in the telecommunications industry and has a B.S. in Computer Science.  A severe neck injury ended her career but propelled her into a new ministry.  She is Founder and President of I Am Whole, Inc. which is a 501C-3 non-profit organization dedicated to helping victims of sexual abuse find freedom from their pain by providing resource material, education and support so that lives that have been shattered by abuse can be restored to wholeness through Jesus Christ.
